Nature’s sublime stillness remedies my active mind, opening a portal to the soul’s innate wisdom.
These diaphanous images, made in the majestic scenery of Yosemite National Park, weave together the physical and metaphysical realms through in-camera double exposures and muted tones, serving as a homage to Earth’s boundless sageness. Keepers of ancient wisdom, the mountains stand tall and silent, witnessing the passage of time and its effects on civilizations, wildlife, and the land itself. My hope is that the viewer, as a witness to these landscapes, experiences a quieting of the mind and opening of the eye of the soul, revealing one’s own innate wisdom.
